Government officials and employees must be aware of the restrictions and obligations placed upon them by Article XXIX of the Colorado Constitution (also known as Amendment 41), which limits gifts including travel, meals, and awards. Many times people are unaware of the impact their decisions may have. There are also important general ethical obligations to be aware of.
