Get ready for CML’s can’t-miss event of the year! The 104th CML Annual Conference returns June 22-25 in beautiful Westminster, Colorado, and scholarship applications are now open. (Everyone, mark your calendar. Registration opens in early March).
As our signature training event, the CML Annual Conference brings together municipal officials from across the state for three days of learning, collaboration, and connection. Year after year, attendees describe the conference as energizing, inspiring, and incredibly valuable — a place to step away from day-to-day demands, immerse yourself in timely topics, and connect with peers who understand the challenges and opportunities of municipal leadership.
The conference features engaging, practical sessions focused on the issues local leaders face every day. Just as important are the conversations that happen in the hallways, over meals, and during networking events. You’ll return home with fresh perspectives, new professional relationships, and ideas you can immediately put to work in your municipality.
To help make this experience available to all our members, CML is pleased to offer 10 scholarships to attend the 2026 CML Annual Conference. Each scholarship includes conference registration, lodging at the host hotel, a travel stipend, tickets to the Tuesday Meeting of the Minds Luncheon and Wednesday Good Governance Award Luncheon, and a ticket to one of the following events on Thursday — the Elected Officials Breakfast, Managers Breakfast, or Attorneys Luncheon.
Scholarships are open to all members, including managers, clerks, mayors, councilmembers, town board members, and key department heads. Please note that municipalities that received a scholarship in 2025 are not eligible this year, and only one application per municipality will be considered.
Complete scholarship details and the application are available on the CML website. Applications must include all required materials and be submitted to CML by Friday, March 6. Incomplete applications will not be considered. For questions about the conference or scholarships, please contact Karen Rosen, meeting & events planner, at krosen@cml.org or 303-831-6411.
Don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your professional growth, build meaningful connections, and bring innovative ideas back to strengthen your community.
