CML staff had a great time getting to know our members at Fall District Meetings. Twice a year, in the spring and fall, we travel to 14 of our districts in all corners of the state to provide an update on happenings at CML and listen to our members tell us what’s going on in their communities. This year, members from 119 municipalities attended Fall District Meetings.

And while we were traveling to district meetings, we stopped by many other cities and towns along the way. The goal of CML’s NICE (network, inform, connect, and educate) program is for CML to visit every municipality in Colorado at least once every five years. Last month we visited Black Hawk, Branson, Buena Vista, Central City, Cokedale, De Beque, Glendale, Grand Lake, Kit Carson, Parker, Parachute, Meeker, Starkville, Salida, Saguache, and Winter Park. Special shout-out to Parker for opening their new municipal building!

CML thanks the cities and towns that hosted Fall District Meetings: Sterling, Fredrick, Golden, Woodland Park, Kiowa, Lamar, Trinidad, Monte Vista, Rico, Delta, Rifle, Oak Creek, Cañon City, and Keystone. We also thank our Associate Members that sponsored the meetings: Ameresco, Arkansas River Power Authority, Bank of Colorado, Black Hills Energy, Bohannan Huston, Circular Action Alliance, Flock Safety, Garfield and Hecht. P.C., Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, SGM, and Wilson Williams Fellman Dittman.
