2017-10-25 Boards and Commissions Basics Workshop

This 2017 Board and Commissions Basic Workshop was designed for appointed members of municipal boards and commissions.  The training materials available for download will help define your role in the policy process and give you tips on how to work more effectively with the elected council or board and with municipal staff, help you keep meetings on track and productive, and will explain ethics laws that may pertain to you.

Presenters include Karen Goldman, former Aurora deputy city clerk; Gary Suiter, Steamboat Springs city manager; and Dianne Criswell, CML legislative counsel.
