CML provides municipal officials the skills and education necessary for good governance in Colorado's cities and towns through a variety of learning opportunities (traditional in-person workshops, short lunchtime seminars, and convenient online webinars) on numerous topics throughout the year.
CML believes that municipal elected officials who invest the time and resources to participate in educational events to increase their knowledge of municipal government should be recognized. For this reason, in 1991 the CML Executive Board created an elected officials leadership training program, now known as CML’s MUNIversity.

Election Series Webinar - Creating An Election Calendar
This webinar is part of CML's 2025–26 Election Series for municipal clerks. Participants will learn how to develop an election calendar for both polling place and mail ballot elections, with a focus on key elements and important timeframes. Practical planning tips will also be shared to help clerks stay organized and compliant. While especially relevant for clerks preparing for spring 2026 elections, all municipal clerks are encouraged to attend.
