The Colorado Municipal League would like to recognize the following individuals completing their service of eight or more years as elected officials. Their respective commitment to their municipalities represents the essence of leadership, effective governance, and empowerment of their communities for the benefit of all.
Woodland Park Mayor Kellie Case is a leader whose deep commitment to service and community truly sets her apart. A sixth-generation Colorado native, Mayor Case has spent more than 28 years contributing to the growth and vitality of Teller County. A well-known real estate agent, Case holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a focus in accounting from the University of Colorado, as well as a Master of Business Administration in finance. Her background in both private enterprise and public service has equipped her with a well-rounded perspective and the skills necessary to guide our city with purpose and integrity. Prior to becoming mayor, she served our community for six years as a city councilmember and as mayor pro-tem, and seventeen years as the city’s finance director and treasurer. Her steady leadership, financial acumen, and passion for this region continue to shape a bright future for Woodland Park. Outside of her professional roles, Kellie enjoys road motorcycling, camping, and dedicating her time to helping rescue and rehome companion pets and volunteering for several nonprofit and other organizations in the region. Above all, she’s a proud mom to her daughter, Taraleah, and pet-mom to Lily, Maizie, and Stevie.
Brenna Morlan was elected to the Bayfield Town Board in 2017 and is currently serving her second term. Morlan is a vice president, CDFI/CRA officer at First Southwest Bank, a Community Development Financial Institution whose mission is to increase household wealth and promote economic development in underserved and low-income rural communities. For over 28 years, Morlan has worked in banking, real estate, mortgage, title, and financial industries, bringing a deep understanding of housing, lending, and community development to her public service. She holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s in business management, graduating with honors from the University of Phoenix. In 2025, Morlan was recognized nationally with the Emerging Leader Award in Banking for her commitment to innovation and community service through the American Bankers Association. She is also a member of the National Society of Leadership. Morlan currently serves on the Regional Housing Alliance Board, La Plata Economic Development Alliance, and HomesFund Board of Directors. She serves as president of the Pine River Centennial Rotary Club in Bayfield, continuing her strong commitment to community service and leadership.
