Each year, the League holds outreach meetings both in the spring and in the fall.
Spring Outreach Meetings
Each spring, CML staff and executive board members hit the road to visit our municipal members. Our free Spring Outreach Meetings taking place in May as an opportunity for you to meet CML staff, learn about the municipal implications of the legislative session, and network with colleagues from neighboring communities.
New this year! To allow CML to hold more meetings than in previous years, meetings will not include lunch; instead, CML will provide light snacks during morning and afternoon sessions, with the exception of the District 1 Meeting in Sterling, which will include dinner and a small cost.
Attention elected officials! Before the Spring Outreach Meetings in Frisco, Kit Carson, and Windsor, we will hold a free one-and-a-half-hour “Essentials for Elected Officials” training. If you are a new city council or town board member, or if you are an experienced official that would like to have a refresher, plan to attend!
Elected officials will receive 1.5 MUNIversity credits for attending a Spring Outreach Meeting, and 2 credits for attending "Essentials for Elected Officials" training in Frisco, Kit Carson, or Windsor.
