Fostering relationships between government, community and citizens can be
a daunting challenge to local governments. Yet an informed and engaged
citizenry is essential to a responsive government and a strong community.
With that in mind, CML sponsored the Civics Awareness Program to recognize
Colorado municipalities that promote civic awareness in their communities.
