Following is a brief outline of the various responsibilities for
CML staff members. It is intended to help officials from CML member municipalities
direct their questions and comments to the appropriate person. E-mail links
are provided to individual staff members (where available) so you can contact
them directly. Simply click on the staffer's name. Staff members can also

Staff Attorney:
Rachel Allen - rallen@cml.org
Rachel joined the CML staff in June 2005 as Legal Research Associate. In August 2006 she became Staff Attorney. Under the direction of the
senior staff attorney and general counsel, she provides general legal services, such as legal research, answering
legal inquiries, drafting legal arguments and preparing legal publications.

Legislative and Policy Advocate:
Kevin Bommer - kbommer@cml.org
Kevin's responsibilities include advocating municipal interests before the state legislature with a primary focus on beer and liquor, severance tax and federal mineral lease, pensions, water and wastewater, water supply, workers compensation, health care, public safety communications, and homeland security and other issues of municipal interest. He also assists in training and answering inquiries for other municipal officials on various topics. Kevin joined the League in 1999.

Senior Staff Attorney: Erin Goff - egoff@cml.org
Erin works extensively with municipal attorneys throughout the state in a variety of ways
in the analysis and resolution of municipal legal problems. She also assists in
training and answering inquiries for other municipal officials on various legal topics.
Erin’s responsibilities also include advocating municipal interests before the state
legislature, with a primary focus on urban renewal, eminent domain, annexation and
other land use issues, immigration and law enforcement.
She returned to the League in June 2004, having been legal research associate for
CML from May 1998 to July 1999. |

Meetings and Events Coordinator: Kathleen
Harrison - kharrison@cml.org
Kathleen coordinates all logistics for CML meetings and events including the
annual conference, workshops, trainings, receptions and special events to support
League activities. She has been with the League since 1997.

Administrative Assistant: Linda Heit - cml@cml.org
Linda provides assistance to the CML legal department, handles publication orders and other administrative projects. Linda joined the League in November 2007.

Administrative Associate: Leslie
Jones - ljones@cml.org
Leslie is responsible for maintaining the front office, CML Workshop registration,
meeting RSVPs and coordinating catering needs for meetings. In addition, she assists
with the production of the Colorado Job Finder and CML directory,
and provides administrative support to Executive Director and other staff.
Leslie has been with CML since January 2002.

Executive Assistant: Barb
Major - bmajor@cml.org
Barb manages the League’s database, produces the Colorado Job Finder and
assists with production of other League publications. In addition, she provides
administrative support to the Executive Director and other CML staff.
Barb has been with the League since 1975.

Executive Director:
Sam Mamet - smamet@cml.org
Sam is responsible to CML's 19-member executive board for executing
the policies and programs of the League, supervising staff members, managing
and coordinating activities and operations, recommending and developing
organization policies and programs, and serving as a spokesperson for League
policies. He also coordinates the League's legislative advocacy efforts and general
policy development and covers a wide variety of issue areas, including
tax policy, labor relations, intergovernmental relations, land use, transportation
policy and electric deregulation. Sam has been with CML since 1979.

Mark Radtke - mradtke@cml.org
Mark's responsibilities include advocating municipal interests on transportation, energy topics
and other issues of municipal interest concerning state legislation and
regulations. Mark joined the League in 2007.

Membership Services Manager: Sara
Reynolds - sreynolds@cml.org
Sara Reynolds manages membership services, including training, outreach, and publications; plans and coordinates League training programs and
district and outreach meetings; answer inquiries;
coordinates the CML annual conference, represents the League
at meetings not involving lobbying; write articles
and publications and conduct research. She joined CML in December 2002.

Publications Specialist: Traci Stoffel - tstoffel@cml.org
Traci edits and designs League communication materials, including the bi-weekly newsletter
and bi-monthly magazine, brochures and Web site. She joined CML in April 2006.

Marketing and Communications Specialist: Lisa White - lwhite@cml.org
Lisa's responsibilities include advertising and marketing CML, media relations, public relations and supporting
municipal public information officers. She joined CML in April 2007.

General Counsel: Geoff
Wilson - gwilson@cml.org
Geoff drafts legislation, provides research and advice, and represents
the League before the General Assembly, various state agencies and officials,
and the appellate courts on various matters affecting municipalities. He also provides
information to municipal officials on legal matters through inquiry service. His areas of
particular emphasis include sales and use taxation, telecommunications,
elections, open meetings and open records, oil and gas regulation and environmental matters. Additionally, Geoff provides legal
services to the League on internal matters. He has been with the League
since 1987.

Finance and Administration Manager: Allison Wright - awright@cml.org
Allison is responsible for the management of financial and administrative activities of the League including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, human resources and benefits administration. In addition she develops CML policies and procedures and manages the administrative staff. Allison has been with the League since January 2006.
