Funding for Marijuana Impact

The Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) manages two marijuana grant programs. The Marijuana Impact Grant awards grant funds to eligible local governments that do not allow the sale of retail marijuana within their jurisdiction but are experiencing the impacts of retail marijuana from surrounding communities or any illegal activity related to marijuana. The Marijuana Enforcement Grant Program provides financial assistance through reimbursements to local law enforcement agencies and district attorneys for actual expenses related to investigations and prosecutions of unlicensed marijuana cultivation or distribution operations. The deadline to apply is Feb. 28. Visit the DOLA website for more information.
